These angels are a piece of my culture: Angels with brown skin and afros were normal to see as a form of spiritual art in a Ethiopian/Eritrean background. It is a very ancient form of art. Normally one would see it in church ceilings and walls in Ethiopia and Eritrea. This picture was recreated with my own flair-I added an afro pick as well as a jewelry piece that is inspired by the Ethiopian and Eritrean culture that the angel is wearing. The angels are also women donning gold and black afros.
